Rev Linda M. Mc Quown- Friday Night SpeakerIsaiah 61 tells us why Jesus was sent. As if it weren’t enough to die for our sins, He also died to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives, to release the prisoners from darkness, and to comfort all of those who mourn! He promises to bestow on them a crown of beauty in the place of ashes, and the oil of gladness instead of mourning. So much of our lives, we have lived out under the condemnation of poor choices, of ours and those around us. For many of us that has left us living a less than hopeful life. But Jesus says in John 10:10 “I have come that they may have life, and have it in abundance”. Join me as we take a look at how God wants to take us from “Trouble to Hope” as we grow in our walk with Him.
